Who are we?

My dad started Valley Homes in 1989 after being a builder in Northern Virginia.  during the last 16 years, his direction of Valley Homes culminated in completion of more than a thousand homes in Harrisonburg and surrounding counties.

Valley Homes has honored any mistakes through the years, but more importantly learned, listened, and continued to perfect our services.  today, we strive to offer the highest quality modular homes in the industry.  Modular housing offers everything from entry level starter homes to state of the art factory built housing.  Valley Custom Homes only sells the highest quality product and boasts that our homes are superior to on-site stick built housing.

Valley offers the consumer construction loans serviced locally and our association with VBS Mortgage makes available home loans at rates and costs unsurpassed by anyone.  We limit the use of outside sub-contractors to the bare minimum, because we want our employees to be responsible to not only us, but also the customer.  We invite each customer to talk with our past customers before trusting us with this important purchase decision.  If you're just looking for the cheapest price then we probably will not meet your goal.  But if you want to be treated fairly, get the best quality, and a home that will appreciate in value (while surpassing your expectations) then talk to me, Christopher Russell.

Feel free to ask your Housing Consultant for completed project photos and names of past customers.  If we are successfully and earn your business we would love to add you name to our growing list of satisfied customers.  Each Valley Custom Homes family members lives in one of our homes as well as most of our office employees.  We believe in our product.

We employ our own site construction crews and have a quality control superintendent working on your new home throughout the entire process.  Each project is assigned a time flow chart agreed to by the customer and a housing consultant inspects your new home upon arrival.  Once the project is completed we do a thorough walk through with the customer to insure your expectations are met.

Homes constructed from the ground up 'site built' homes are inspected by officials only three to six times during the construction phrase.  Our homes are inspected more than thirty times before leaving the facility to ensure the utmost quality and construction of your new home.
